Work Party Outfit: Easy Style

Let's get creative, adapting our work style into a party outfit.  We need to seamlessly go from day time chic to a night event. Gone are the days of carrying around an extra set of clothes for an after-hours work event and changing in the office bathroom.  Depending on your work environment, you may want to keep the mood more neutral or add a vibrantly bright pop of color.

The ideal cocktail attire holiday outfit, with a twist, is one click away.  Whether you’re in the mood for full on glam or something more subtle, this mixed and matched power suit could be just the look for you.

I’m sure you all have your holiday outfits styled and ready to go so I’ll be posting some of my favorites over the next few days to inspire any last minute ideas.  I find the most difficult to style is the office look.  Keeping in mind your mid-day conference, let’s begin with a blazer.  Now, what top to wear under it?  You don’t want to look too sexy, yet you want to show off your fierce stylish skills.  Walking the tightrope of holiday festivities and professional office wear is a thin line.

Wear lace!  If you are now asking, ‘How to wear lace to work?’, I’ve got a suggestion.  I got this top from Nordstrom rack and unfortunately it is no longer sold in stores.  But, I did link a few amazing alternative options below.  Here is how I wore my lace top, but if you’re concerned about too much skin, just throw on a nude or black camisole and you’re all set.

Shine bright like the holiday lights with the perfect look for you.

Liven up the party with a pop of red or a taste of texture.
